Vision Statement
God is working not only through adults, but through our children as well. God's Word tells us in Acts 2:17 that in the last days, God will pour out his spirit on all flesh. God is raising up an army of worshipers in these children that He will use in these last days to proclaim that He is the one and only God. The children on this team are learning to grow in God’s Word and they are applying it to their everyday lives. They are learning to seek His face in all that they do. Through structure in practices, each child is learning responsibility. By learning this at a young age, each child grows up to become an adult of integrity; an adult that knows the truth of God's Word and stands by it. God's Word also teaches us to train a child up in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Our children need to be taught in an atmosphere that gives them freedom to dance, freedom to worship God radically, and here they are encouraged to do just that...with all their hearts.
Membership
Every child is allowed to become a member of this team. However; there are stipulations and rules that must be followed in order to remain a part. This team is not only a commitment for each child, but for the parent as well.
Strategic Goals
By Grace Dance Ministries seeks to teach each child responsibility, integrity, and how to grow in God's Word by:
-Teaching each child how to study God's Word.
-Teaching children to give everything that they
can to worship and praise God.
-Encouraging children to take a stand for God.
-Forming morals focused on Biblical principles.
-Sharing the Word of God through dance.
Statement of Mission
This dance team equips, teaches, and guides children in:
-Facilitating growth in Gods word.
-Provoking each child to hunger for a relationship
with God.
-Enabling each child to express their worship in a
way that is pleasing to God.
-Encouraging each child in living a life that is sold
out to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2008-2009 Objectives
-Add more children to the existing By Grace Dance
Ministries team.
-Expand each child's ministry abilities.
-Teach new forms and dramatic styles of dance.
-Expose each child to different musical genres for
expressing dance.
-Develop the interpersonal skills of each child by
teaching them to work as a team.
